ABOUT JENNINGS LAW FIRM

Estate Planning Rooted in Care, Built for Every Texan

Abilene-based. Texas-focused. Here for you and your family.

THE STORY

How Jennings Law Firm Came to Be

Bethany Jennings has worked in the trust and estate planning and administration field for almost two decades. She was with a boutique firm in central Texas, worked in the trust department of Texas banks, and now she runs her own firm in Abilene. The throughline has always been the same: real relationships, careful planning and deliberate execution to reach client goals.

Working at that level for that long, you start to notice things. Good estate planning makes a real difference for families. And a lot of families never get access to it, not because the need isn't there, but because the process can feel out of reach.

Jennings Law Firm exists to close that gap. The same depth of experience, without the barriers that keep most people from walking through the door in the first place.

"I want to make the estate planning process simplified, approachable, and affordable for everyone."

BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE

Deep Experience You Can Feel

Bethany graduated cum laude from the University of Tulsa College of Law and has been licensed to practice law for over twenty years. Her career spans private practice, state government, corporate and franchise law, and nearly a decade inside the trust and wealth management departments of Texas banks. The foundation of her legal career was built in private practice, most notably at a boutique firm in central Texas, where she worked across trust and estate planning, probate, business law and real estate.

She then gained experience in areas of trust and estate administration as Vice President and Trust Advisor in the trust and wealth management departments for banks in central Texas. During her time working in the trust and wealth management, she earned special recognition finishing at the top of her class at both Texas Trust School and Texas Graduate Trust School through the Texas Bankers Association.

That path through both private law practice and institutional wealth management is uncommon.  That perspective aids in the way she structures a solid, workable plan and in the way she explains the plan to the client.

Beyond her legal work, Bethany has spent years showing up for her community in other ways. She served on the board of the Advocacy Center for Crime Victims and Children, volunteered with Providence Hospital Foundation, and held multiple leadership roles with Compassion Ministries in Waco, including two consecutive years as Board President. Since relocating to Abilene, she enjoys volunteering at the First Central Presbyterian Church Food Pantry. That same instinct that drew her to estate planning — wanting people to have access to something that genuinely helps them — is the same one that keeps her involved in her community long after the workday ends.
